Lay the chicken out on a paper towel and pat them dry.
Place the chicken in a large enough bowl or pan so that there is enough room for the chicken to move around.
Add the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and optional spices on top of the chicken and mix so that all of the chicken drumsticks are covered.
In a small bowl whisk together the egg together and add it to the floured chicken. Mix by hand so that all of the chicken drumsticks are covered.
Add the breadcrumbs to the chicken and mix by hand so all of the chicken drumsticks are covered.
Spray the oil in your air fryer basket and preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Spread the chicken drumsticks into the air fryer basket and set the time to 20 minutes. Flip the chicken every 5 minutes or so that they become golden all over.
Open the air fryer to see if they are crispy enough for you, and heat them for a couple more minutes if you wish.
Decorate with a slice of lemon and serve while warm.
Notes
