Instant Pot Sesame oil chicken
An easy asian chicken in soy sauce recipe, made in the Instant pot with added dose of veggies.

- 3 pounds of boneless chicken (approx. 5-6 pieces)
- 2 cups of fresh broccoli
- 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds for decoration
Brown sauce
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 1 cup of beef stock
- pinch of salt and pepper to taste
Slurry
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon of water
Add a little bit of the sesame oil, garlic, chicken and ginger into the instant pot and sauté for a couple of minutes until fragrant.
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and the water completely to make a slurry.
Add the rest of the ingredients (except the broccoli and slurry), and set the Instant Pot to High Pressure for 8 minutes.
Once the countdown has finished, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes.
Open the Instant pot and stir in the slurry and the broccoli.
Press the Sauté button again for 5 minutes to let the sauce thicken.
Let the chicken in brown sauce rest for 10 minutes on the Keep Warm function.
Taste to add salt and pepper if necessary.
Serve while warm.
