Ravioli in a sausage and tomato sauce

- 200 g of ravioli
- 2-3 sausages, chopped
- 4 tablespoons of grated parmesan
- pinch of salt and pepper
Tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup of tomato coulis or crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- pinch of salt and pepper
In a large pot on the stove, cook the ravioli pasta according to package instructions.
In a small mixing bowl, mix all the tomato sauce ingredients.
Chop the sausages and in a large sauce pan, lightly cook the sausages at medium heat.
Mix the cooked sausages with the tomato sauce, and pinch of salt and pepper.
Once the ravioli has finished cooking, drain the ravioli and add it to the tomato sauce and sausages and stir for 1-2 minutes.
Plate the ravioli and add a sprinkling of shredded cheese. Serve while warm.
