Bruschetta salsa on mini toasts
In 10 minutes or less, this easy bruschetta salsa can be served as an appetizer or a savory snack for any occasion.
Ingredients
![]() | 3 medium-sized tomatoes – any type of tomatoes will do, such as tomatoes on the vine, campari, roma or plum tomatoes. |
![]() | 1 chopped red onion – for sharpness |
![]() | 6-8 mini toasts – small pieces of toasted bread or baguette |
![]() | (Optional) 2-3 slices of smoked ham or jambon cru can be a great addition |
Spices and flavoring ingredients:

![]() | 2-3 leaves of chopped fresh parsley for a bit of green and for flavor |
![]() | 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar |
![]() | 1 tablespoon of olive oil |

How to make these bruschetta mini toasts
- Cut the tomatoes into small chunks using a fork and sharp knife, then place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Chop the onion and parsley and add them to the tomatoes.
- Add the remaining ingredients (except the ham) and mix well.
- Chill in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
- Lay the toasted bread on a baking sheet.
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Scoop the tomato mixture onto each slice of bread.
- (Optional) Top with a small piece of ham.
- Bake for 5 minutes at 190°C (375°F) if desired.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
