It may not always seem obvious to cook steak in an air fryer, but nothing could be easier. Whether you like your steak rare or well done, this is one way to prepare it without fussing over the stove.

You can adjust the timing of the air fryer depending on how you want your steak cooked:
- If you want medium-rare, cook for 2 minutes
- For medium, cook for 3 minutes.
- For medium-well, cook for 4 minutes.
- For well done, cook for 5 minutes

And while the steak is being prepared, you can prepare the sauce: a delicious garlic herb butter for just a touch of light flavor to perfectly complement the steak.
Cooking tips
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C) before cooking the steak.
- It is better to watch carefully and underestimate the time required to cook the steak, and then tack on a minute at the end, rather than to overcook the steak.
