Creamy parmesan gnocchi
In 15 minutes or less, this delicious gnocchi cooked in a parmesan sauce makes a quick, delicious, and comforting dish perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
![]() | 20 oz (600 g) of any type of dry packaged gnocchi |
![]() | 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese |
![]() | 1 teaspoon of dried parsley |
For the sauce:
![]() | 1 cup of any type of heavy cream or crême fraïche |
![]() | 1 tablespoon of garlic powder or flakes |
![]() | 1 tablespoon of butter |
![]() | 2 cups of low sodium chicken or vegetable stock |
![]() | Pinch of salt and pepper |
How to make this creamy parmesan gnocchi
- Heat the chicken stock in a pot or skillet.
- Cook the gnocchi in the hot stock over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Reserve ¼ cup of the starchy cooking liquid, then drain the gnocchi.
- Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry the gnocchi for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Add the reserved cooking liquid, cream, Parmesan cheese, and spices.
- Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Serve warm.
